looking through your pictures i always wonder how you are accepted so well into area you a photographing. Its like your part of the familys and places you take pictures of. You have a real talent for capturing people just doing what they do.

What a creative title "Pouring tea." That Ivy League education really paid off. And what is that guy wearing on his wrist? Me thinks I spot a Lance Armstrong "Livestrong" yellow bracelet peaking out from beneath those beads.
rich as you well know I completely bluffed my way through college...

re "being accepted" or whatever you want to call it, I think the key is to not act like a tourist and spend lots of time hanging out before breaking out the camera.
This is just a great photograph, it's wonderful that you're able to make the most of the opportunities you have.

This picture makes me smile back to those people. I feel that I can hear they talk and smell the tea and the air in the room. Do you travel by yourself? Usually people accept you more when you are by yourself I think. I love your pictures... thanks for sharing them.
